Arriva, ArrivaClick ArrivaClick is an on-demand ‘corner to corner’ bus service. Customers book journeys through the ArrivaClick smartphone app by entering their origin and intended destination anywhere within a 19km square zone around Sittingbourne, Kent. Within an average of 10 minutes, they are picked up at a nearby corner in a Mercedes Sprinter minibus and are “seamlessly aggregated” with others travelling in a similar direction, with no fixed routes or schedule, says Arriva. The judges said: “ArrivaClick – a real world, well designed and funded application of small vehicle transport is what the UK needed and what Arriva have delivered. Fantastic!”
