This Award seeks an outstanding smarter travel mobile phone and tablet App or mobile website that makes effective use of the medium, provides accurate and timely information, utilises accredited data sources, and is popular with an increasingly discerning public.
Specific criteria for this award:
The entry shall detail:

Description of the purpose of the app (e.g. timetabling, route planning and so on)

Description of data feeds and geolocation technologies used

The extent to which the app is innovative and offers an improved or unique service, stands out in the crowd

Project budgets, timetables, and funding arrangements
The judges will be looking for apps which demonstrate:

Integration with online booking systems or e-tickets where possible

Use of real time information where available and relevant

The development and testing process

Co-ordination with public transport operators

Demonstration of successful uptake in regard to download figures, reviews, usability, and service / application reliability
