Be a part of the programme! - Call for paper Submissions

Cycle Active City provides a meeting point for all practitioners charged with transforming cycling and walking in UK cities.

After the successful event with 500 delegates in Birmingham in 2013 and  Cycle City Leeds 2014, we're now going to Newcastle for 2015.

  • The objective is for the people in government, employers, third sector, consultancies, suppliers and public health bodies involved in designing infrastructure and promotion of cycling, to discuss and develop strategies to get more people walking, and cycling safely in British cities.

We are asking for organisations and practitioners with an interest in being involved to get in touch with us to propose content for the event.

This can include: Study tours, conference papers, workshops, panel debates, media activities and exhibitions.

The Call for Papers will close on March 17th
