Walthamstow Assembly Hall

Speaker at London Cycling Show 2015

Over the last decade London has undergone a significant transformation and more change is coming.  During a period of high population growth, traffic in the inner core has fallen, public spaces have been improved dramatically and cycling infrastructure upgraded to encourage new cycling journeys.

The design and implementation of Healthy Streets is now a key objective for the London mayor and the London Boroughs.  This event will profile the latest Healthy Streets thinking, case studies, workshops and thought leadership presentation from those that are already delivering successful Healthy Streets projects from London, the UK and beyond.

The event will showcase and detail the policy, technical delivery and community engagement that is leading to Healthy Streets.

We are currently welcoming the following:

  • Case studies from the practitioners leading delivery in London anf the UK

  • Proposals for technical Site visits to the newest cycling infrastructure and public realm in London

  • Proposed workshops on detailed planning and engineering issues

  • Presentations from the leading policy makers and practitioners in London

  • International speakers from leading cycling cities around the world

We are asking for organisations and practitioners with an interest in being involved to get in touch with us to propose content for the Healthy Streets conference.
