Healthy Streets Sensors

Healthy Streets Sensors are new Smart Cities products from Almere Technology.

With use of artificial intelligence, the sensors detect, track and count people in public spaces.

Healthy Streets Sensors are the solution for real-time footfall monitoring, calculating pedestrian comfort levels and cycle counting.

They are fully managed, ready to be deployed for capturing extended observations or for shorter term data collection.

Uses include:

- movement analysis for street redesign projects

- pedestrian queue monitoring at signalised crossings

- monitoring and evaluation of Healthy Streets Indicators

- cycle counts in complex environments

- real time calculation of pedestrian comfort levels

- actuation of street elements such as lighting or dynamic signage

- crowd management

We also offer analysis of pre-recorded footage collected from a city’s existing traffic cameras which offers a cost-effective way to use existing infrastructure for automated data collection.

Based in Newcastle we are an established supplier of people detection equipment to the city’s Urban Observatory.  Sensors can be supplied and installed as pre-assembled turnkey units based on hardware from Sony and Intel.  Alternatively, we can work with your locally procured existing suppliers to design and install hardware to our specification in any location.

Come and talk to Tom on stand C2 about how our Healthy Streets Sensors can help you understand the flow of people through your town or city.
